Friends day out went up to Broome in June for 7 Days. We stayed at the Broomes Last Resort with 7 members and 3 support. During our time in Broome we went on the hovercraft, camel ride on the beach we also took a ride on the Harley Daivdson motor bike trikes.
Friends Day Out went to Esperance for 4 night During the Perth Royal Show week. We took advantage of our free travel pass, it was a 9 hour trip arriving in Esperance about 6pm. Our accommodation was great,staying at at the Yot SPOT apartments ,plenty of space for the group. We had take away for tea and discussed what we would do the following days. The first day we cruised around getting to know Esperence and did movies in the evening. Day 2 Coach Tour to Stone Hedge, the animal Park where we had morning tea, we then moved on to watch a lady who make glass things with her hands, very interesting. The Leather Mermaid was the next stop, which showed us a 30 min documentation of how they resource from the ocean for their business., our bus driver then took us to the lookout where we had a good view of Esperance and back to the Yot Spot. Day 3 some chose to relax and some went to Wooly Island to see seals, penguins and dolphins.. Day 4 a quick breakfast, tidy and pack up and get to the bus by 8am. All in all a good trip .
